Started by the passionate team at Big Shark Bikes and a small group of devoted cycling enthusiasts, the Gateway Cup has become a legendary criterium race weekend that draws visitors to St. Louis from across the country and around the world.
Founder and director Mike Weiss reached out to us because he wanted to enhance the live viewing experience and create a way for viewers outside STL to experience the rush and excitement of live crit racing.
Leveraging satellite, drone and high-definition mini-cam technology, we developed innovative techniques to immerse viewers in exciting new perspectives on the action—all live and available in real-time for viewers in the stands, on the streets and on the live streams.
We are now utilizing this footage to support the Gateway Cup team with the creation of promotional hype reels and Gateway Cup storytelling videos that inspire new audiences to become criterium bike racing fans through the rush of the live experience.
